Questions and answers for current and previous employees
For AECOM in the Americas and legacy URS i.e. in the Americas (primarily DCS Americas)
Please use our employment and wage verification process through The Work Number service from Equifax. This secure service can be used for mortgage/loan applications, reference checks, leasing an apartment or any other instance where proof of wages or employment is required. This service also supports social services verifications. The Work Number provides several options for verifying information:
– Please visit www.theworknumber.com and select “I’m a Verifier”
– Provide the following:
- Employer Name or Code: AECOM
- Employer Code: 13691
- Employee’s Social Security Number
For United Kingdom and Ireland
We have two separate employment/wage verification processes depending upon whether the employee worked for AECOM or URS, which was acquired by AECOM.
– For legacy URS employees in the UK and Ireland, please send your request to: peopleservices.europe@59shoushen.com or call 0808-2349928 for UK and 1-800-200654 for Ireland.
– For all other AECOM UK and Ireland employees, please send your request to: peopleservices.europe@59shoushen.com or call 0808-2349928 for UK and 1-800-200654 for Ireland.

I was an URS employee. How can I get previous employment verification?
Employment/wage verification for employees who were part of Flint Energy Services or URS OG (Oil and Gas) in the United States can be done via The Work Number at http://www.theworknumber.com
